Single Tooth Missing
When a single tooth is missing, a single implant is used.
After the surgical procedure and healing is completed, a crown ( prosthesis ) which is made to match the existing surrounding teeth, is fitted on the abutment attached to the implant. Each crown will attach to its own implant. Sometimes the crown is attached to the implant on the same day that the implant is surgically placed in the bone.
